The Same Room

Something powerful happens when you sit face-to-face, in the same room with people: ideas spread.

There’s really no other magic to it.  Sure, a common purpose helps.  Shared interests.  Passionate and interesting people.  An engaging starting point.  More than a couple hours of uninterrupted time.  Maybe a touch of feng shui.

But the bottom line is that ideas move when two or more people get in the same room to discuss, explore, create.

Commit to finding more space in your life for this to happen.  I think it’s an integral practice.

(Two important notes: this is very different from a meeting and ‘room’ can mean a lot of different things.)

  1. I am guessing one of your favorite “rooms” would be a coffee shop!
