you're reading...

Where do you feel the most safe?  The kind of safe where you stop calculating your actual presence within a space.  Where you stop analyzing motivations.  Where you aren’t tabulating or tracking actions and words and attention.  You stop doing and thinking and instead you are just, well, you, in the truest, most authentic form of who God created you to be.

Can you think of any spaces that make you feel this way?  Don’t you long for more of those safe spaces in your life?  I know I do.

CS Lewis says that “the real test of being in the presence of God is that you forget about yourself altogether.”  I can’t think of a safer place to be than in God’s presence.  Where/when/with whom does this happen for you?  Go there.
