you're reading...

I think Seth Godin writes about shipping (taking a project from the ideas stage to the delivered stage) more than any other topic.

Today marks two weeks of blogging everyday.

Seth is right, it’s good to deliver.  It’s good to take an unformed, unfinished idea and hit “publish” even when it doesn’t feel totally ready.  It’s good to create a habit.  It’s good to move thoughts from my head into words.  It’s good to practice and it’s good to let go of perfectionism for the sake of producing.  It’s just plain good to go do something.

It’s been good, really good, to ship.

So why not another two weeks?

And maybe another two after that.  And then two more after that…

How about you?  What are you going to ship today?  This week?  This month?  Are you creating a habit or a discipline of shipping?  If not, please GO DO it!

  1. Keep up the shipping I’m loving it and my new discipline of shipping will be stalking your thoughts! Btw I’m digging the go do reference 🙂
