This morning Sarah and I made homemade pumpkin waffles for SOS (our girl YL Leader hangout time). We found the recipe on the blog: “Always With Butter.”
They were delicious and not that hard to make so you should try them!
Served with 100% warmed maple syrup. No Aunt Jemima’s @poundthecanvas this morning.
Sarah and I (and a random woman who was in the baking aisle with us at Jewel) learned that crystallized ginger is simply ginger chunks coated in sugar. It costs $15 a bottle and a bottle is less than 1/2 cup!! Therefore, unless you plan ahead and crystalize your own ginger, these are not cheap waffles!
