the same question

In his book the Cost of Discipleship, Bonhoeffer writes, “It is becoming clearer every day that the most urgent problem besetting our church is this: How can we live the Christian life in the modern world?”

When you strip down the issues the Church is currently engaged in, an educated guess would lead me to assume that, even today, this is still the most salient question.  It’s a question the Church is struggling to answer and especially struggling to agree on.

I’m only on page 55, but I think I’d answer the question differently from what good ‘ole Dietrich is gearing up to say.
